Who writes this

MedTrip Korea is written and edited by one person: a long-term resident of South Korea who has spent a great deal of time on the patient side of Korean hospitals and clinics.

The relevant experience

• Booking appointments at Korean university hospitals and neighbourhood clinics, in Korean, including the parts that cannot be done online.
• Admission, discharge and the document trail that follows — itemised receipts, medical certificates, records requests.
• Insurance claims filed against Korean hospital paperwork, and the reasons they get rejected.
• The everyday logistics: registration desks, department desks, payment desks, pharmacies, and how long each actually takes.

Personal medical details are not published here. They are not what makes the writing useful — the process is.
