Two questions come up in almost every enquiry we receive: which city, and how long. Both are answered better by a table than by an article, so these two pages exist to be scanned rather than read. Neither ranks hospitals or clinics; they compare the shape of the trip.
Comparisons
Tables rather than essays: the choices that change the length and cost of the trip, laid side by side. None of them rank clinics.
Seoul vs. Busan vs. Daegu
Three cities market themselves to foreign patients. How they differ in getting there, language support, choice of providers and daily cost, a method for working out when a cheaper quote outside Seoul really is cheaper, and the cases where leaving Seoul is a poor idea.
Stay length by procedure
One table for planning flights: nights to budget, number of trips, the appointment that sets your departure date, how the table is built, and how to combine two procedures in one trip.
#How to use them
- The city comparison is for a quote from outside Seoul that looks cheaper. It sets the saving against the extra travel, the thinner language support and the daily cost, and shows when the cheaper quote is really cheaper.
- The stay-length table is for booking flights. It lists, per procedure, the nights to budget, the number of trips, and the appointment that sets the departure date, using the same planning defaults as the treatment articles and the cost calculator.
Both tables are maintained alongside the treatment articles, so a change in one shows up in the other. If a procedure you are considering is not in the table, the total cost calculator still lets you enter your own nights and trips.
